Cornea and External Disease

Fellowship

The University of Florida has very active corneal and external disease, refractive surgery, and contact lens services. The faculty includes Dr. Sonal Tuli (fellowship director), Dr. Lauren Jeang, and Dr. Allan Steigleman. Over 300 new and established patients are seen per week in the cornea clinics at the University hospital. In addition, a large volume of cornea and anterior segment surgery is performed at this institution.

Retina Fellowships

Our Surgical and Medical Retina Fellowships provides the best clinical training regarding the management of retinal diseases. As such, the fellow is involved in all aspects of the clinical care of patients with retinal diseases. Our goal is to train competent, confident, sophisticated retina specialists, with both surgical and medical expertise.

Grand Rounds

Each Friday morning the Department of Ophthalmology meets for grand rounds, which are attended by the residents, faculty, and other interested observers including medical students, fellows, & local ophthalmologists.
